  • NO. Hospice Palliative services are paid by Medicare part A and/or Medicaid 100% with no Co-pays or deductibles. Medicare and/or Medicaid coverage will continue to pay for other services and medications not related to the illness being treated by Global Hospice.

  • At Global Hospice, our main objective is to ensure your utmost comfort throughout your journey by presenting an extensive range of pain medications from our pharmacy, as well as implementing meticulously crafted pain regimen under our doctors’ direct supervision. Additionally, if your pain becomes unbearable, our inpatient facility is available 24/7 for you to transfer to, ensuring that you receive optimal pain management.

  • YES. We take pride in our infection control program. Our program includes oral and IV treatment for wound, urinary, respiratory and other infections; treatment may be provided in the comfort of your home or in our Palliative Care Center

  • Medicare will pay inpatient days to control all crisis or 5 days of respite care. Usually a transition period from the hospital and/or to control crisis will be of 3-4 weeks.

  • YES. Global Hospice Pharmacy services will assist with reconciliation of your medications to develop an individualized medication regime.. Our pharmacist will be able to consult with your doctors to establish a medication treatment that is best for you. Our medical team will be able to order refills of current medications.

  • YES. Global will provide the required formulas to continue your nutrition. Our Palliative Care Center will be able to transition from an ICU/hospital setting to your home

  • NO. The transportation to and from our Palliative Care Center is included with our services. Our palliative center is staffed with nurses and nursing assistants round the clock. Crisis episodes can occur at any time, therefore ambulance transportation is always available at no cost to you.

  • YES. Our facility is available for respite care and transition days from the hospital.

  • YES. Medicare and/or Medicaid allows the patient to select the PCP and will continue to cover most of the specialists visits. Global Hospice will always coordinate with other providers to avoid duplication of services.
